JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is an application under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure seeking anticipatory bail in a case FIR No. 275 dated 1.12.2010 under Sections 307, 356, 506, 148, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

(2.) LEARNED Counsel has vehemently argued that role attributed to the Petitioner is only that he has given lalkara, hence, Petitioner is entitled to be released on anticipatory bail.

(3.) CONSIDERING the totality of the circumstances and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the Petitioner on bail.
