SAHIL SHARMA @ HIRA Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Sahil sharma @ Hira has applied for grant of regular bail in FIR No. 68 dated 10.6.2010 under Sections 307, 148/149 IPC and Sec. 25, 27 of Arms Act, registered at police Station Rama Mandi, Jalandhar.

(2.) As per allegation in the FIR, the petitioner also fired alongwith main accused Hardeep. During investigation a Kirpan was recovered from the petitioner. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Hans Raj, has stated that the petitioner has not fired. There is no corresponding injury in respect of Kirpan. The petitioner is in custody since 14.7.2010.

(3.) So, without commenting on the merits of the case, bail to the satisfaction of the trial Court.
