VEERPAL KAUR MALHI Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure wherein a prayer has been made that the passport of the petitioner be returned to her so as to enable her to take a journey abroad in order to enable her to take care of her children.

(2.) REPLY to the petition has been filed by way of an affidavit of She. Satpal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Moga wherein in para 1, it has been stated as under: -

(3.) IN this view of the matter, this Court, in the exercise of its powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, does not deem it proper to grant the prayer of the petitioner.
