JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner Club, through its President Kamaljeet Singh, has filed the instant petition for issuing direction to Gram Panchayat, Village Bhoepur (respondent No.4 herein) to allot some land to the petitioner Club for establishing a Gym in the village for the benefit of the inhabitants.

(2.) ACCORDING to the petitioner Club, a resolution (Annexure P -3) was passed by the respondent Gram Panchayat on 20.9.2011, vide which it agreed to give a piece of land to the petitioner Club, subject to approval of the Government. It is further the case of the petitioner Club that after the said resolution, the petitioner Club made a representation dated 14.10.2011 (Annexure P -4) to the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Block Shahkot, District Jalandhar (respondent No.3 herein) for forwarding the resolution to the Government for approval, but till date, he has not forwarded the said resolution to the Government.
