JUDGEMENT

(1.) In the mentioned dispute between Mamta Sabharwal and her husband, Ravinder Kumar, a compromise was entered into in F.A.O. No. 46-M of 1995 and some amount was paid by the husband to the wife to settle the matter and to grant a divorce. In this view of the matter, it would be futile to continue with the present proceedings under Sections 406 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code. The complaint and the subsequent proceedings accordingly quashed.
