JUDGEMENT

(2.) As per para No. 3 of the written statement, the stand of the respondents is that out of the total amount of Rs. 8,43,518.90, an amount of Rs. 1,24,388.50 has been sanctioned and sanction for Rs. 6,72,486.50 is still awaited from the Government.

(3.) In this case, the poor petitioner is suffering on account of the delay and laches committed on the part of the respondents. The petitioner was operated upon on 28,12.1999. A pace maker was inserted in his body on 11.10.2000. The petitioner submitted his bills in the year 2000. These bills are not being cleared as per the Government Rules and Service Conditions. It is a matter of concern of everybody. The poor employees are not supposed to beg and borrow from others in order to get themselves treated. Rather the Government should come with help and it should try to lessen the miseries of such persons.
