(1.) THIS writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeks the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the award dated 19.8.1997 passed by Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Jalandhar (hereinafter referred to as "the Labour Court").
