JUDGEMENT

(1.) On the statement of Mohinder Singh-respondent No.2. F.I.R. No. 678 dated 28.11.2000, was registered at P.S. Kotwali, Patiala, a copy whereof is Annexure P-1. Relevant Portion of the F.I.R. reads as under:

(2.) During the investigation of the case, respondent No.2 i.e. Mohinder Singh complainant had effected compromise with the petitioner against whom case had been registered. His affidavit to this effect is Anneuxre P-2. The statement of the complainant has also been recorded.

(3.) On the basis of the compromise effected between the parties outside the Court, this petition under Section 482 of the code of the Criminal Procedure for quashing of the First Information Report was filed.
