RAM LAL Vs. STATE OF PUNJAB

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.128 dated 11.10.2019 registered under Sections 323/120-B/307/ 148/149 IPC at Police Station Rahon District SBS Nagar (Annexure P-1) as well as all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.

(2.) As per allegations in the FIR, Ram Lal gave a gandassi blow on the head of the complainant Mohan Lal which hit in the middle of his head. Gurpal @ Nony gave a datar blow on the left leg of the complainant which landed below knee of the complainant. Another accused namely Jagdeep Singh @ Minty, Kuldeep Singh and nephews of Ram Lal Kashi, Jatinder Singh @ Deepa and other identified persons also inflicted injuries on the person of the complainant.
