JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.370 dated 24.09.2018, registered at Police Station Farakpur, District Yamuna Nagar, under Sections 406, 420 and 506 IPC, and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 19.12.2018 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

(2.) Vide order dated 08.05.2019, the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate was directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and authenticity of the compromise.

(3.) In compliance thereof, the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist class, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhari, has submitted a report vide letter dated 06.06.2019, which indicates that the parties appeared before the Court and got recorded their respective statements with regard to the validity of the compromise. As per the report, the compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine and voluntarily.
