(3.) The petitioner who is the husband of the complainant (respondent No.2) seeks quashing of FIR No.46 dated 31.3.2003 (Annexure P1) registered at Police Station Balchaur, Distt. Nawanshahr for the offences under Sections 498-A and 406 Indian Penal Code (IPC for short) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.
