JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. A. Dasgupta, learned senior counsel assisted by Dr. B.N. Gogoi, learned Standing counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. D.C. K. Hazarika, learned counsel appearing for the respondents

(2.) By an order dated 31.10.2018 passed in IA(C) No. 4269/2017 this Court had directed that status-quo as on that date be maintained in respect of execution proceeding. The said interim order was extended from time to time till 26.07.2019 by virtue of order dated 20.05.2019.

(3.) This appeal was thereafter listed on 26.07.2019. On that day on the prayer made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the matter was adjourned and directed to be listed for orders on 26.08.2019. The appeal was not listed on 26.08.2019 and instead the matter is listed today.
