JUDGEMENT

(1.) These are writ petitions, jointly filed by people who are engaged as Canteen Boys, Messengers, Sweepers and Storekeepers in several SBI branches on casual basis for the last more than 10 years with wages or salaries ranging from Rs.1250/- to Rs.2000/- per month praying for regularization of their services.

(2.) Heard Mr. M.K. Choudhury, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners and also heard Mr. S.S. Sharma, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents.
