JUDGEMENT

(1.) IN W. P. (C) No. 1771 of 2001, the petitioner has prayed for setting aside the selection of respondent No. 5, namely, Shri Shyamanta Hazarika to the post of lecturer in History made by the Special Body, Madhabdev College, Narayanpur, P. O.- Dikrong, Lakhimpur, Assam (in short called 'college') and also for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner to the post of lecturer in History in the said 'college' as per provisions of the Assam Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of Vacancies in Services and Posts) Act, 1978 (here-in-after referred to as 'act' 1978 ).

(2.) IN W. P. (C) No. 2148 of 2001 the petitioner has prayed for declaring the interview dated 07. 03. 2001 as well as the select list relating to the post of lecturer in History as illegal and also for a direction to the respondents for selecting the petitioner at first preference.

(3.) IN W. P. (C) No. 1743 of 2005, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the selection and appointment of respondent No. 11 Shri Bhaskar Doley selected in the interview dated 30. 11. 2004 to the post of lecturer in History in the College, with further prayer for direction to appoint the petitioner in his place.
