JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. H.Lalrinthanga, counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. C.Lalramzauva, senior counsel assisted by Mr. Benjamin Lalthlamuana, counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3, i.e. the Mizoram Khadi Village Industries Board (MKVIB) and the private respondents.

(2.) The petitioners counsel submits that the petitioner was initially appointed as Assistant Development Officer in the Mizoram Khadi Village Industries Board (MKVIB) on 20.4.1992. The respondent No.2 was appointed as Asst. Development Officer on 24.6.1994 and the respondent No.3 was appointed to the post of Supervisor (equivalent to Asst. Development Officer) on 5.9.1994.

(3.) The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) held its meeting on 5.10.2007 for selection of candidates for promotion to the post of Development Officer.
