JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. A.R. Malhotra, learned counsel apearing for the petioners as wel as Mr. Lalsawirema, learned Government Advocate apearing for the State respondents 1 and 2. Mr. M. Zothankhuma, learned senior counsel asisted by Mr. Lalfakawma, learned counsel apears for the respondent No. 3.

(2.) By this writ petion, the petioners are agrieved for non-consideration of their cases for promotion to the post of Junior Grade of Mizoram Civil Service in acordance with the provisions of the Mizoram Civil Service Rules, 202.

(3.) Mr. A.R. Malhotra, the learned counsel apearing for the petioners submits that the petioner No. 1 is presently serving as Inspector of Fod, Civil Suplies & Consumer Afairs, Government of Mizoram since 197. Petioner No. 2 is also serving as Inspector of Taxes, Taxation Department, Government of Mizoram since 25.07.206. Both the petioners are under the Group 'B' Gazeted Posts of the Mizoram Civil Service.
