JUDGEMENT

(1.) The court proceedings have been conducted through Video-Conference due to COVID-19 pandemic.

(2.) Heard Mr. G. Phukan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Bidyut Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the State of Assam.

(3.) This is an application, filed under Sec. 438 of the Cr.PC. seeking prearrest bail of the petitioner, namely, Ajam Ali, in connection with Changsari PS Case No. 04/2022 registered under Ss. 379/411 of the IPC read with Sec. 13(1) of the Assam Cattle (P) Act, 2021.
