FARUK ALI Vs. STATE OF ASSAM

JUDGEMENT

(1.) By filing this petition under Sec. 438 of the CrPC, petitioner Faruk Ali @ Mintu Ali has sought for pre-arrest bail in connection with Dakhin Majuli P.S. Case No.05/2021 (corresponding to G.R. No.225/2021), under Ss. 457/380 of the IPC.

(2.) Heard learned counsel for both sides and perused the record and case diary.

(3.) In the FIR, the informant who is engaged with construction of a concrete bridge, alleged that on 16/9/2021, at about 2:30 a.m., one unknown person has entered into his camp room and committed theft of several articles including mobile phone, ATM card, PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID card, etc. along with the mobile phone of one Nazrul Haque.
