By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner, who is the son of a detenue namely Shri Pradip Buragohain, is seeking direction to forthwith set his father at liberty from illegal detention and to issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari declaring the remand order, dt.17/12/2021, passed by the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (S), Kamrup (M) at Guwahati in connection with Fatasil Ambari P.S. Case No. 817/2021 and all its consequential remand orders as unconstitutional and illegal with adequate compensation.
