JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. JC Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. BB Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent.

(2.) This is an application, filed under Sec. 439 of the Cr.PC. seeking bail of the accused-petitioners, namely, 1. Sri Akhilesh Kumar and 2. Sri Jay Prakash Kumar, in connection with Manja Police Station Case No. 32/2021 registered under Ss. 20(C)/29 of the NDPS Act. The scanned copy of the case diary along with the status report has been received.

(3.) The contraband involved in this case was seized from the possession of the accused-petitioners. That apart, the case has been posted for recording of evidence although no evidence has yet been recorded till date, as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
