JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Court proceedings have been conducted through VideoConference due to COVID-19 pandemic.

(2.) Heard Mr. H Bezbaruah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the conducting counsel for the petitioner, Mr. SJ Sarmah. Also heard Mr. RR Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the State respondent.

(3.) This is an application, filed under Sec. 438 of the Cr.PC. seeking prearrest bail of the accused-petitioner, namely, Md. Joripoddin SK @ Ali, in connection with Abbhayapuri Police Station Case No. 672/2021 registered under Ss. 342/294/354 of the IPC read with Sec. 66(D) of the Information Technology Act.
