JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Court proceedings have been conducted through Video Conference due to Covid-19 pandemic.

(2.) This is an application made under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C., seeking prearrest bail of the accused-petitioner, namely, Sri Abhijit Bhattacharya, in connection with FIR No.RC0172021A0010 dtd. 21/10/2021 lodged before the ACB, CBI, Guwwhati, registered under Ss. 120B, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code, and Sec. 13(2) read with Sec. 13(1)(d) of the P.C. Act, 1988.

(3.) Heard Mr. L. Talukdar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.C. Keyal, learned Standing Counsel, CBI for the respondent.
