JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Court proceedings have been conducted through Video-Conference due to Covid-19 pandemic.

(2.) This is an application made under Sec. 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail by the accused-petitioner, namely, Anuj Kr Das @ Animesh, in connection with Special (POCSO) Case No.36/2021, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (POCSO), Sivasagar, corresponding to Sivasagar P.S. Case No.923/2021, registered under Ss. 376(AB) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Ss. 6 and 12 of POCSO Act.

(3.) Heard Mr. P.K. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S.H. Borah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the Respondent State.
