JUDGEMENT

(1.) Affidavit sworn by Shri Nitul Gogoi, IPS (DIG) MPC) on 3 rd January, 2020 has been filed along with certain documents. It has been brought out that petitioner-in-person has also been involved in the process initiated at the instance of the Court. Steps have been taken for :-

(2.) It has been brought out from the affidavit that number of meetings have been held at the senior level for implementing the orders passed by the Court.

(3.) Shri D. Saikia, learned senior counsel assisted by Shri Nitul Gogoi, IPS, DIG (MPC) has further informed the Court that steps are being taken to ensure that long body buses do not ply on roads that are congested. The issue is being taken up with the Transport Department.
