(1.) Heard Mr B Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr S C Biswas and Mr B K Mahajan, learned counsel, representing the respondents.

(2.) By way of filing this application under Section 407 CrPC, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Silchar Sub-Regional Unit, Silchar, has sought for transfer of Special Case No. 04/2019 from the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Karimganj to the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Silchar.

(3.) Petitioner is represented by the Additional Assistant Director, DRI, SSRU, Silchar.
