JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Ms. P. Bhattacharya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in WP(C) 961/2019, who is also appearing for respondent No. 7 in WP(C) 6315/2018, and Ms. M. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(C) 6315/2018. Also heard Mr. S. P. Bhattacharjee, learned Standing counsel, Elementary Education Department, and Mr. R. Barman, appearing for respondent Nos. 7, 8 and 10 in WP(C) 6315/2018.

(2.) Since the issues raised in these writ petitions are inseparably interlinked, both the writ petitions are taken up together for consideration and are being disposed of by this common order.

(3.) Both the petitioners are serving as Assistant Teachers in Roumari L.P. School in the district of Morigaon and both of them are seeking a direction for provincialisation of their service claiming to be the 3rd dropped teacher of the said school.
