(1.) Heard Shri Kh. Tomba, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Shri Th. Sanachouba, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 4 and Shri N. Jotendro, learned senior advocate appearing for the respondent No. 5.
(2.) By the instant writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent's Bank to release a sum of Rs. 3,80,000/- (Rupees Three lacs eighty thousand) only.
(3.) The petitioner being an unemployed person applied loan under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme under the trade Carpentry for a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs) only. After the examination of the documents submitted by the petitioner, the authority concerned recommended the name of the petitioner for sanctioning the said amount. The Manager, United Bank of India, Thoubal Branch issued a sanction letter dated 23.2.2018 along with the terms and conditions.
