JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. S. Gunabanta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. Sundari, learned GA appearing for the respondents No. 1 & 2.

(2.) The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:

It is the case of the petitioner that the Executive Director (HR/Admn./IT/Legal) has written a letter dated 29th May, 2018 to the Administrative Officer (Power), Government of Manipur requesting for promotion of the petitioner to Section Officer Grade-II in view of the application forwarded by the DGM/IED - IV in respect of the petitioner. As no steps were taken, the petitioner made a representation dated 3rd June, 2019 addressed to the Administrative Officer (Power), Government of Manipur through proper channel requesting for considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to the next higher post of Section Officer Grade - II /Old. As the representation dated 3rd June, 2019 is yet to be disposed of by the Administrative Officer (Power)/respondent No. 2, the present petition has been filed.
