E. IBOPISHAK Vs. STATE OF MANIPUR

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Mr. Tolpishak, learned counsel appears for the petitioners and Mr. RK. Umakanta, learned G.A. appears for the respondents. Court has perused the latest status report dated 15.05.2017 which has been produced by Mr. RK. Umakanta, learned G.A. Para No. 8 of the report reads as follows :

(2.) The SDPO - Kakching, I.O. of the case is directed to complete the investigation without any further delay and proceed with the matter in accordance with law for filing charge sheet.

(3.) If case is made out, the S.P., Kakching is directed to take follow up of the pending cases where investigation is pending and final charge sheet is not filed. The S.P. is directed to report on the action taken in respect of the cases in which prompt action has not been taken to complete the investigation and proceed with the matter thereafter in accordance with law. The report of S.P. in particular, action taken report by the I.O. of the case should be submitted on 09.09.2019 without fail.
