JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. M. Devananda, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S. Samarjeet, learned CGC appearing for the respondents.

(2.) Writ petition has been filed for the following relief :

(3.) Petitioner claims that he was promoted to the post of Head Constable/GD from CT/GD and posted at Intelligence Cell of IGP, M and N Sector at Langjing Group Centre Manipur. The petitioner is aggrieved by the transfer and posting order dated 13.01.2015 stating that it is contrary to the Chapter - V, Induction and De-Induction of Central Reserve Police Force Intelligence Policy Mannual, 2013, which provides that while the normal tenure is limited to 3 years in respect of GD Officers/SOs/Ors, the normal tenure for Intelligence personnel would be 5 years and in exceptional cases for 6 years keeping in the view of the performances.
