(1.) THE petitioner appeared in the Pre-University Examination (Science) under the Utkal University in March, 1964, from Khallikote College Berhampur, English, Modern Indian Language (M, L L.) and General Knowledge were the Compulsory subjects in which he had to appear. For optional subjects he selected Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. He offered Economics as the fourth or the extra optional subject. THE Registration number of the petitioner in the Utkal University was 5859 of 1963 and his Roll number for the Examination was 793.
