JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard Mr. Devashis Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Prem Kumar Patnaik, learned counsel for the State.

(2.) This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C., 1973 for grant of bail to the petitioner in connection with Chhendipada P.S. Case No. 63 of 2014 corresponding to Special (NDPS) Case No. 42 of 2014 pending in the Court of learned Judge, Special Court, Angul for alleged commission of offence under section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (hereafter 'N.D.P.S. Act').

(3.) The petitioner moved an application for bail before the learned Judge, Special Court, Angul which was rejected on 12.10.2017.
