JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner, aged about 99 years, is a retired employee of the Eastern Railway. The grievance of the petitioner is that the payment which accrued in his favour pursuant to the revision of pension in accordance with the sixth pay commission has not been disbursed in his favour.

(2.) The petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit incorporating a letter dated 18th January, 2019 written by the SeniorAssistant Financial Advisor/Pension, Eastern Railway, Kolkata to the Chief Manager, Bank of Baroda, Centralized Pension Processing Centre, intimating the bank to disburse the arrears of his pension amount as indicated in the chart annexed with the said letter. The saidchart is apart of the annexure in the supplementary affidavit.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent bank as well as the Centralized Pension Processing Centre submits that the payment that was due and payable to the petitioner on account of revision of his pension has been disbursed and there is no outstanding to be paid to the petitioner.
