JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application has been filed in connection with W.P.15463(W) of 2018 with the following prayers:

(2.) The writ application was filed by the petitioner aggrieved by an order of the appellate authority under the Bengal Medical Act, 1914. Pursuant to a complaint lodged by the respondent No.6 the wife of a deceased patient against the petitioner dated April 12, 2017, the order was passed by the Registrar, West Bengal Medical Council, dated April 23, 2018.

(3.) By the said order, the name of the petitioner was struck off from the Register of doctors of West Bengal for a period of one year.
