JUDGEMENT

(1.) An order passed by the Information Officer as upheld by the appellate authority exercising jurisdiction under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005 is under challenge in the present writ petition.

(2.) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner wanted the salary details of the husband of the petitioner. The same was rejected by the Information Officer and that such rejection was upheld by the Appellate Authority in terms of Section 8(1)(j) of the Act of 2005. According to him the rejection is contrary to the provisions of the Act of 2005.
