JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS Writ Petition has come to us from the Order of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Calcutta Bench, Calcutta dismissing T. A. No. 1 of 1999 (W. P. No. 15480 (W) of 1997) on 15. 3. 2007 by Annexure- P 44. Apartv. Ramana Vs. A. P. S. R. T. C. reported in AIR 2005 SC 3417 tribunal, the Petitioner also prays for the following reliefs:-

(2.) THE facts of the Case, as pleaded in the Writ petition, is that the Petitioner was appointed as a Health Assistant in the services of the Respondent No. 4 (National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases) in the year 1989. His services were made permanent with effect from 7. 9. 1992.

(3.) ACCORDING to the Petitioner, he is one of the main activists of the Staff Welfare Association which was duly recognised by the authorities by their letter dated 4. 3. 1986 as contained in Annexure-P 2 issued by the Respondent No. 6 by which he informed the Secretary of the said Staff welfare Association that the Director General, ICMR (Respondent No. 2) had been pleased to accord formal recognition to the said Staff Welfare Association vide his letter No. 65/22/76-E. C. D II dated 21. 2. 1986.
