JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner in this application has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-

(2.) The fact of the matter lies in a very narrow compass.

(3.) The Railway authorities on or about 19.2.1994 issued a notice inviting tender for settling a Cycle/Motor Cycle and Scooter stand at Asansol Railway Station; pursuant whereto the petitioner submitted his tender. The Railway authorities having accepted the petitioner's tender, an agreement dated 8.7.1995 for a period of three years was entered into by and between the Union of India and the petitioner, in terms whereof the petitioner's tender for a sum of Rs. 4,32,000.00 was accepted and he was to pay a sum of Rs. 1,44, 991 by way of yearly instalment.
