JUDGEMENT

(1.) The Court : Prima facie, there appears to be violation of the order dated May 13, 2016.

(2.) However, in the affidavit filed by the alleged contemnor, no details have been furnished as to when the heirs of deceased employees who died in harness were given contractual engagements and in what circumstances some of such contractual engagements were converted into regular appointments notwithstanding the said order.

(3.) The alleged contemnor should file a fresh affidavit indicating the names of all persons who have been given contractual engagement on compassionate grounds from the date of the institution of WP No.318 of 2016 and the names and circumstances relating to the regularisation of any contractual employee by appointment after the order dated May 13, 2016. Such affidavit should be filed before the matter is taken up next a fortnight hence.
