JUDGEMENT

(1.) None appeared for the appellant.

(2.) Mr. Anowar Hossain, learned Advocate is requested to appear on behalf of the appellant as amicus curiae. A copy of the paper book is handed over to him in Court today.

(3.) The appellant has been convicted for commission of offence under Section 376(2)(f) of the Indian Penal Code and directed to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay a fine of Rs.2000/-, in default, to suffer rigorous imprisonment for six months more.
