JUDGEMENT

(1.) Paper books are ready. Petitioner prays for suspension of sentence.

(2.) In view of the fact hat the paper books are ready, on consent of the parties, appeal is taken up for hearing.

(3.) Appeal is directed against the judgement and order dated 16.02.2015 and 18.02.2015 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Krishnanagar, Nadia in Sessions Case No. 2 (6) of 2014 (Special) arising out of Sessions Trial No. IV (IX) of 2014 convicting the appellant for commission of offence punishable under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as 'POCSO Act') and sentencing him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for five years and to pay a fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three months more has been assailed.
