JUDGEMENT

(1.) The appellant was a constable in Railway Protection Force (hereinafter referred to as "RPF"). He left the barrack during the weekend in the month of April, 1987 without informing his superior and overstayed for about I and 1/2 months on the alleged plea of wife's illness, lie was absent on and from April 15, 1987. According to him he went to join his duty on June 21, 1987 with medical certificate for him as well as his wife and he was allowed to join in service on June 23, 1987.

(2.) Again on July 9, 1987 he went to his native place and overstayed on the alleged plea of being not well. He ultimately joined on July 21,1987.

(3.) On July 30, 1987 he again went to his native place for fixing his daughter's marriage and overstayed on the alleged plea of his own illness as well as his wife's illness and ultimately joined his service on October 29, 1987.
