JUDGEMENT

(1.) This is an application under section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for release on bail in connection with Chakdah Police Station Case No. 671 of 2014 dated October 7, 2014 relating to an offence punishable under Section 20(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

(2.) We have heard the learned advocates appearing for the parties and perused the case diary.

(3.) It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody for 95 days and charge-sheet has been submitted and that further detention of the petitioner is not necessary.
