JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appeal is directed against a decision of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Asansol rendered in M.A.C. Case No. 85/2001.

(2.) THE Appellant met with an accident on February 3, 2000. She was initially admitted to a hospital at Asansol for treatment, and thereafter, shifted to a nursing home at Asansol and then to another nursing home at Kolkata.

(3.) THE appellant filed an application under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act. She claimed compensation for loss of income, medical expenses, pain and suffering and compensation on account of disfiguration and permanent disablement.
