JUDGEMENT

(1.) This application under Art. 227 of the Constitution of India is directed against an appellate order passed in connection with a pre-emption proceeding.

(2.) The pre-emptees are the petitioners before this Court.

(3.) The opposite parties Nos. 1 to 4 as pre-emptors filed an application for pre-emption under Sec. 8 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act for exercising their right of pre-emption in respect of the transfer of the plot of land made by Sakhi Mahato, being the opposite party No. 17 herein, in favour of the petitioners on the ground of co-sharership.
