JUDGEMENT

(1.) A notification bearing Memo No. 2855-FMR/13L- 36/14 (PV) dtd. 01/09/2022 was published by the Concerned Authority for fresh vacancy of MR distributor at Block Samserganj, Sub-Division-Jangipur, District of Murshidabad.

(2.) Petitioner, private respondent No. 6 and others applied for the said vacancy.

(3.) Godown-cum-office site of petitioner as well as the other candidates were inspected by the head of inspection team of the Department of Food and Supplies. Thereafter the petitioner came to know on the first week of September 2023, that the respondent authority had issued approval in favour of private respondent No. 6 for his engagement as MR distributor for the location Samserganj. The petitioner immediately has submitted representation with the authority concern regarding his objection against the appointment of Respondent No. 6 stating therein that Respondent No. 6 is not the eligible candidate. His representation was not considered; Hence this writ.
