JUDGEMENT

(1.) ALTHOUGH the matter is appearing under the heading 'for orders', this appeal itself is taken up for consideration by consent of Mr. Kishore Dutta, learned advocate for the appellant. This is an appeal against judgement and order dated July 9, 2013 passed by the Hon'ble Single Judge in W. P. No. 19876(W) of 2013.

(2.) THE petitioner was engaged by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as part time Medical Advisor on November 12, 1988, initially for a period of 6 (six) months. Such engagement was continued from time to time. The Corporation availed of his service for sometime, but his engagement was terminated with effect from July 10, 2013 giving him a month's notice.

(3.) THE Hon'ble Single Judge, rightly, held that he had no vested right to be re -engaged. Therefore, the writ petition was dismissed.
