JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ application is filed by the petitioner for a direction upon the respondent authorities to allow her to resume duties in connection with her appointment as an Assistant Teacher of A.K. Mitra Institution for Girls' (formerly Dwarkanath Balika Vidyapith), District Kolkata in her post of approved assistant teacher in Science group (Mathematics) after regularising her leave for the period from May 17, 2011 to May 16, 2013 as extraordinary leave without pay.

The petitioner submitted an application to the secretary of the respondent No.4 for issuing a "No objection" certificate in favour of the petitioner to release her from duty of the said school for two years for pursuing postdoctoral fellowship study in Japan from the date which might be fixed by the authority to pursue study in respect of the above fellowship.
