JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner has been facing his trial on a charge under section 498A/406/313 IPC in connection with GR Case No. 61 of 2012, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas arising out of Sonarpur Police Station Case No. 9/2012.

(2.) IT is submitted that the FIR was registered on January 1, 2012 and charge -sheet was submitted on August 27, 2012. It is further submitted although charge was framed on March 26, 2014, but till date the trail has not been concluded and only 3 witnesses have been examined uptil now. It is prayed that an order be passed directing the court below to conclude the trial expeditiously.

(3.) CONSIDERING the nature of relief sought for this court is of the opinion this application can be disposed of without requiring service of notice upon the opposite party and that would not cause any prejudice it.
