SATYAJIT ROY Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL

JUDGEMENT

(1.) In this writ application the petitioner has challenged an order dated 19th March, 2012 passed by the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal No.OA/TA/MA/CCP/RA/626/11 under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

(2.) The petitioner, Satyajit Roy, was initially appointed as a Constable of the Kolkata Police and later promoted as Assistant Sub-Inspector.

(3.) A departmental proceeding was initiated against the petitioner on the basis of a charge sheet.
