(1.) These appeals are by the Defendants. Appeal No. 57 of 1951 is by the Defendants 2 to 4 and appeal No. 58 of 1951 is by the Defendant No. 1.

(3.) In the above suit, the Plaintiff (Sm. Kamal Kumari Debi) claimed an account of the amount due and payable by the Plaintiff on account of a loan of Rs. 12,500 lent and advanced on August 7, 1933, by the Defendant No. 1 to the Plaintiff's mother, a decree that the Defendants do make over to the Plaintiff and transfer in her name 600 ordinary shares of the Bengal Trust, Ltd., on payment of the amount due and payable to the Defendant No. 1 on the taking of such account, alternatively, a decree for the sum of Rs. 36,000 by way of damages or indemnity under the Bengal Money-lenders Act.
